Hi — I’m Elizabeth. I’m a writer and avid reader living in Washington, D.C. My first book, ROMANCELANDIA, an exploration of how romance authors and readers are rewriting the rules of love and publishing, will be out in 2028. I write What To Read If, a popular book recommendation newsletter, and have contributed to Time, Slate, USA TODAY, Vulture and The Washington Post, among other publications. I also run East City Bookshop’s romance book club and edited a serial essay collection about Louise Penny’s Inspector Gamache books.
